wait

jumped over the bridge

to the other side

the weather in my mind's a little better tonight

stormy, rainy, cloudy at the same time

but i can glimpse the smallest amount of sun 

one day at a time

but i've only got 11 more weeks

where will this pace take me

take us

if anywhere at all 

sitting waiting wishing 

for the end

close my eyes

and wait for tomorrow 

for another week to pass us by

like petals on a rose

for them to fall

one by one 

until we're out of time
