a small piece to the puzzle
i know
grateful for only being able
to occupy a corner of your mind
the desire for a mutual addiction
washed away in the responsibility
of my everyday
perhaps another time
but not today, not this time
and half the battle is just
keeping you in a corner of my mind
because you threaten to take it all
