almost thought I had it all
there was an issue
but I was coping
there was a bruise
but I was healing

then you walk down the hall
and suddenly life
has run off at 100mph
I wish I could stop chasing
I wish life would chase me
for once

Don't give me your hand
don't make me follow you
don't make me fall
into another hole
don't plant emotions into my heart
because I've been down that path before
